Septerra Core
Tato část stránek je zatím ve fázi rozpracování.... omluvte, prosím, nedokonalost a mnohé nepřesnosti a nedodělky.
Tuto hru jsem poprvé hrál jako přílohu ke SCORE, nebo Levelu (už si nejsem jistý). Nedohrál jsem ji, a vlastně ani nevím proč.
Nicméně, od doby, co jsem ji zaregistroval na www.gog.com, tak jsem netrpělivě čekal, až se tato hra dostane do nějaké rozumné slevy.
I stalo se: Vánoce 2011 sice byly ve znamení hnusné hnisavé angíny a suspektní haemorhagické gastritídy (nejmladší dcera), ale také ve znamení nejrůznějších slev a bonusů. Mezi nimi se objevila i tato hra.
Dle idnes.cz (1) je manga RPG japonského stylu, které vydaln Monolith v roce 1999.
Úvod

Svět Septerry vypadá vskutku originálně. Sedm kontinentů, tvořících jakési vrstvy (takové slupky od cibule), obíhá okolo jádra. Jejich rotací vzniká ohromné množství energie, která se kumuluje právě zde a z něhož čerpají obyvatelé všech kontinentů. Dá se říci, že jde o perpetum mobile v planetárním měřítku. Každých sto let se vrstvy uspořádají tak, že nechají proniknout jeden sluneční paprsek až k jádru. V tuto dobu je možné pomocí dvou klíčů, které ukryl stvořitelův syn Marduk kdesi na Septeře, jádro odemknout a získat tak samotné království nebeské. Nyní Mardukův potomek lord Doskias klíče našel a chystá se odemknout jádro. Je tu ale jeden háček - správný okamžik nastane až za 60 let. To nicméně Doskiasovi nebrání v jeho plánu - rozhodl se totiž probojovat si cestu do jádra a pomocí různých zrcadel a čoček dovést světlo na správné místo dříve. S tím ovšem nesouhlasí jeho císař a posílá svou 
pravou ruku, kapitána Gunnara, aby Doskiase zastavil.
Vy hrajete roli Mayi, mladého děvčete z města Oasis, které se nachází na druhém kontinentu. Většina obyvatel tohoto světa jsou takzvaní "junkers", lidé probírající odpad, který jim dolů hází Chosen - obyvatelé první slupky (z jejichž rasy je i Doskias) a prodávající užitečné kousky. Mayu sžírá nenávist k Chosen, protože jí jako malé holčičce vyvraždili rodinu. Když tedy opět vidí na obzoru jejich lodě, nezůstane nečinná jako většina obyvatel Oasis…
Nyní mé vlastní myšlenky a postřehy:
Septerra core je velice hezká a "koukatelná" hra. Pohled izometrický, z poměrně malé perspektivy. Na 10. palcovém displeji tak hra vypadá lépe, než např. Fallout.
Hra je lineární, herními mechanismy (včetně soubojů) připomíná Final Fantasy. Obtížnost lehká- stačí se trochu vytrénovat (tak o 1-2 levely).
Negativa hry:
Prvním, a nejzásadnějším je natahování herní doby opakovanými souboji. Pokud se trošku vylevelíte, jsou souboje jednoduché (a tudíž nudné). Jsou tahové a nedají se urychlit. Na druhou stranu se některým nepřátelům dá vyhnout.
Členové party se střídají (max. tři osoby, nebo osoby dvě a robotický pes).
Celková herní doba je 40 hodin (zanamenal jsem i 100 hodin, vážně asi záleží na těch zpropadených soubojích).
Druhé negativum: hraji gogovou verzi hry a i tak mi poměrně často padá- doporučuji ukládat po každém souboji (nebo před opuštěním lokace).
Závěrečné resumé: Hra se rozhodně vyplatí, rád kochám se zajímavým herním světem, s netradiční atmosférou (kombinace techniky a magie). Hraji však odpočinkovým tempem, na druhém monitoru mám návod z abecedy her (to abych se neztratil v "adventurních" úkolech) a u nudnějších soubojích něco naťukám na webu...
